Carl was born with music in his soul, crafting rhythms from everyday objects as a small child. Church hymns fueled his passion, and an encouraging uncle gave him the push he needed; by eight, he had his first drum set. From that moment, percussion became his purpose. Growing up in Philadelphia, Carl immersed himself in music, joining choir, band, and any activity surrounded by sound.
